Two day class covers:
This two day hands-on course introduces students to the primary feature set and basic interface of Final Cut Pro. In this course you learn to perform basic editing functions while familiarizing yourself with the user interface. Learn to mark and edit clips in the timeline as well as trimming and other editing features.

This course is designed for the beginner looking to learn the basics of Final Cut Pro.

Final Cut Pro is the creative, professional and extensible tool for editing and finishing in SD and HD formats. Final Cut Pro is a scalable digital nonlinear editing system and is designed for editing and finished a wide variety of programs at virtually any resolution or frame rate.

Participants may be film or television editors, producers, directors, postproduction personnel, independent filmmakers or videographers, graphic designers, web designers, developers of interactive multimedia, or anyone involved or wants to be involved in the video, film, or multimedia production process.

Pre Requisites: Students should be familiar with video terms and concepts, and have experience with the Macintosh operating system.
